The Songbird Disposable Hearing Aid is the world’s first disposal hearing aid for those with mild to moderate hearing loss; especially for those who feel they don’t need hearing help all the time. This hearing aid provides smooth amplification over a wide range of frequencies, while its discreet and comfortable behind-the-ear design minimizes the look of wearing a hearing aid.

The Songbird Disposable Hearing Aid is an affordable and hassle-free way of receiving outstanding digital sound while not having to pay the high costs of traditional hearing aids and their maintenance. With a built-in battery that lasts up to 400 active hours of use, there is no hassle in needing to replace a battery. Once the battery runs out, simply discard and begin using a fresh hearing aid.

Designed for individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss, the Songbird Disposable Hearing Aid is equipped with a volume control switch, making sounds louder or softer. While a doctor’s referral is not needed, it is highly recommended to have a medical evaluation by a licensed physician before purchasing or using a hearing aid of any kind. The Songbird Disposable Hearing Aid contains 1 hearing aid per pack only.

Advantages:

This aid is comfortable to wear and after a hour or so, you forget you have it on, other than you realize that you can hear things you couldn’t without it. The part that goes in the ear is very small, and people don’t even realize that you have an aid on. It is a one size fits all, so no expensive fitting is required.

The volume control is the on/off switch so when you don’t need it during the day, you can easily turn it off to conserve the battery life. I am a musician and I have even used it on the bandstand, and it doesn’t distort the sound at all. It is a digital hearing aid which is the latest technology.

Disadvantages:

With a little over 200 hours, the battery in mine went dead. I hardly used mine, and I think this makes the aid too costly for the average user. They should make a aid with a replaceable battery.

Conclusion:

If you’re hearing only needs help with hearing aids once in a while in certain situations, or if you are retired and stay at home most of the time where listening to understand what people are saying is not a requirement many hours a day, I would recommend these hearing aids for their clarity and price over the standard non-disposable hearing aids.

But if you are a person that needs to use hearing aids 24/7, I would not recommend these because it would still come out expensive when you have to buy a pair approximately once a week.
