Unitron has an extensive range of digital hearing
aids for different degrees of hearing impairments. Unitron
hearing aids are manufactured by Unitron Hearing, the company was
founded in 1965 when Unitron Industries of Canada were merged with
Argosy Hearing Solutions and Lori Medical Labs of the United States.
Unitron's lineup of well known product lines include: Liaison, Conversa and Unison.
Liaison is fully automatic and programmable. This hearing aid is equiped with a realtime feedback canceller and wind noise canceller. This model is available in in-the-canal (ITC), completely-in-the-canal (CIC), behind-the-ear (BTE) and in-the-ear (ITE) variants.
Conversa features ClearCall, a patented technology that facilitates clear phone conversations. Another feature is ClearPath, another technology that detects speech and voice while eliminating background sounds and noises.
Unison has three sub models: Unison 6 is designed for the active user, the Unison 3 are for those who are using fewer listening environments and the Unison Essential for those who are upgrading to digital hearing aids. The Unison Essential is ideal for users who are in a budget.
All Unitron Hearing Aids are custom-made and fitted to every user. Unitron believes that each person who use a hearing aid is unique. Each user needs to have the hearing aid fitted to his ear canal and programmed based to his or her normal and foreseen hearing environments.
